John Kirwan visits The Kiwi Chamber Feb. 18th

The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Korea, known as “The Kiwi Chamber,” will host “A Night of Rugby with John Kirwan” on Thursday, February 18 at the Grand Hyatt Seoul. The event will be held in the Regency Room starting at 7:00 p.m. and is sponsored by Audi and Standard Chartered.

Legendary New Zealand All Black player and current Japan Rugby Union national team coach John Kirwan will deliver the keynote speech and touch on his compelling personal and sporting life story. As one of New Zealand’s most notable athletes, John has represented the All Blacks in 63 rugby test matches, including a star performance during the 1987 Rugby World Cup. John Kirwan is also highly recognizable in New Zealand as the public spokesperson for depression awareness and recovery and was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) for his work.

“Having a sportsman of John Kirwan’s calibre speak to the Kiwi Chamber is very exciting as he is a New Zealand legend,” noted Les Edwards, chairman of The Kiwi Chamber. “It showcases our capability to deliver high-impact events while adding a new dimension beyond the chamber’s typical business and trade-focused fare.”

To make the evening a perfect New Zealand experience, a fabulous Kiwi three-course dinner accompanied by New Zealand wine and beer will be served and include an auction of All Black and John Kirwan-autographed memorabilia.
