Top Comedians Visit Seoul!
Rarely does Seoul see such an opportunity for live stand up comedy such as this. Two of America’s top comedians will be visiting Korea to perform two nights on center stage at one of Seoul’s finest hotels.
Jonathan Powley was a semi-finalist for New York’s Funniest Comedian Competition, part of the New York Comedy Festival, and produces a long-running show at Arlo and Esme (a weekly comedy show called “Buns and Puns”) where each week he makes free homemade buns for all the audience members who come to the show.
Voted Best Stand-Up at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, headliner and winner of Seattle’s International Stand-Up Comedy Competition Tom Cotter has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show and Last Comic Standing.
They will be performing at the Jupiter Room of the InterContinental Hotel this coming Friday and Saturday night. The house will be packed when Stand Up Seoul organizer and hometown favorite Bryan Aylward puts on this spectacular comedy event. Co-sponsored by 10 Magazine, the prices are ridiculously low for an event of this scale. Only W40,000 includes a dinner buffet at one of Seoul’s finest hotels and drinks before the show.
