Review of “Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard” (전우치)
At first I was hesitant to watch the film since the film’s poster had failed to impress me (since y’know, you should always judge a film by its poster), but when I was told the film was “a kind of fairytale”, I agreed to watch it. I was pleasantly surprised. After a dark Pan’s Labyrinth style introduction, the film develops into what seems to be a comic Joseon Dynasty version of Ghost Busters.
