[John's Travel Diary] Jungle Trekking and Elephant Conservation in Northern Thailand
After 4 weeks of island hopping and beach lounging, I was ready for some inland adventures and soon landed in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The city is about 700km north of Bangkok and, though still touristy, its crowds and noise are dwarfed by its big brother to the South.
